Apologies for the dramatics, but it’s true.
As you might have heard, Global for me is crowdsourced and crowd funded, meaning that we work hand-in-hand with you to make stories happen.
Once a story has been pitched by you, our journalists or the GFM Team, the race begins.
Donations can be as little as £1.00, $1.00 or €1.00. That’s where the bar starts. When it comes down to it, the amount is decided by you.
Donations go towards funding the story and the journalist(s) who will work hard to make it happen. GFM has accomplished a several stories already, here’s the list of videos and podcasts produced so far by this method.
In other words, crowdsourcing and crowd funding works.
But we need you.
So what are you waiting for?
E-mail us story ideas that you’re interested in us producing, and we’ll work out the details. You can also contact us via this blog, Facebook or even Twitter, if you feel like writing your ideas in 140 characters or less.
Don’t forget to check our story ticker on the blog to see if there are already pitched stories you’re interested in helping create. Be apart of the process.
At the moment, all our payments are being handled through PayPal. Yes, this means that it requires a PayPal account on your part. In the future, as Global for me grows, things may change.
In the meantime, we’re sticking with PayPal and letting this project grow from there.

Important note!
GFM asks that you contact us before you donate, especially if you want to donate to a specific story in our ticker. Let us know exactly where you want the money to go.
